The Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree......
Except today he doesn't, his tree has been cut down for re-development, so he sits on the fence, wondering when all this destruction of his natural habitat will end.......
Anzac is a Kookaburra rescued as an egg when the tree containing the tree hollow he was laid in, was cut down.
Thankfully he was rescued along with his two other siblings.
This is him successfully raised and released back into the wild. He was unable to be returned to his birth place, but will hopefully find another place he and his family can call home.
