This image is from the 2023 Bird Week Australia Exhibition “From the ground up”, where Angela explores explores the crucial connection between birds and trees.  
 
King parrots feed on a variety of fruit, seeds and buds.  They help with seed dispersal from the seeds they drop.
They rely on old growth hollows for nesting.  
 
These two were photographed in the wild.
The overlay trees reflect the food trees they like to forage in.
