Nangaw was the first Powerful Owl Angela got to meet up-close. Australia's larget owl.
Nangaw the Powerful Owl was found caught in a barbed-wire fence with a severely damaged wing. Wildlife carers rescued and saved her life, but were unable to save her wing. Thankfully she has found a home at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo where visitors can meet and learn about her.
In the wild Powerful Owls have a conservation status of "vulnerable" in NSW & QLD & "endangered" in VIC.
