There are a dozen free flying cheeky Princess parrots at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.

They are now successfully starting to breed and this series follows the growth of one of their off-spring.

Princess parrots live in NT & SA, but are highly nomadic following where the food is.

Although popular aviary birds, this parrot is classified as “near threatened” in the wild with only about 5000 individuals left in the wild.
