Angela spent hours in an aviary at the Australian reptile Park to observe this shy bird and capture a close-up portrait.
These birds are critically endangered with the suggestion that there are aprox 400 individuals left in the wild.
However due to the 2020 bushfire crisis that happened right across the Regent Honeyeater terrain, we are unsure how many are now left and how much habitat has been destroyed.
