How cute is Yeti,  his portrait is sure to make you happy as you admire his print on your wall!
 
Yeti was hit by a car when he was just newly fledged. He suffered a coracoid fracture (kind of like our collarbone) and bruised air sacs (birds don’t have lungs like we do, but delicate air-sacs for breathing).
 
He spent many months in intensive care, but is now fully recovered and can even fly now, which is a miracle going on his extensive injuries.
 
In May 2021 Yeti was invited to live at Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Sanctuary (Perth) with Opal. This was incredibly special as Opal is one of Angela's previous patients who she also rehabbed for a few years under similar circumstances.
