Feathered Heads is an annual project that I launched in 2014 to showcase rescued and endangered birds, as well as species ‘ambassadors’.
The collection gets up-close and personal with these beautiful Australian native birds to reveal their beauty and personality.
Each October, I exhibit this collection for National Bird Week, an event run by Birdlife Australia to inspire Australians to become involved in bird conservation.
I also self published an art book ‘Feathered Heads’ to accompany this collection. The first edition of 20 copies sold out, prompting a second edition with an extra 20 pages.
In 2015, ‘Feathered Heads’ won best book at the NSW Professional Photography Awards.
